Algunas veces en nuestra vida se presentan monstruos, cuando éramos niños, estos estaban ávidos de destruir nuestra vida o tomar nuestra sangre, sin embargo a medida que crecemos algunas personas pueden abandonar estos temores y en cambio otros pueden conservarlos… El armario de nuestra vida oculta varios monstruos que nos impiden ser felices, la oscuridad se ha convertido en nuestra enemiga, requerimos a toda costa, una luz que nos guie, proteja de aquello que nos ha generado inquietud… Existen diversos tipos de monstruos en el armario, en la infancia tenían cuerpo otras veces no, a veces eran juguetones aunque malos otras veces no hablaban solo lastimaban, quizá ante el temor acudíamos a un oso de peluche. O fueron los padres-cuidadores que se hicieron cargo de intentar calmarnos. Puede ser que estemos adultos y que esos miedos sigan con nosotros. Tal vez hemos intentado de todo para superar estas inseguridades y hemos fallado. Algunas personas tal vez estén cansadas de buscar soluciones. Si le duele el estómago y toma algún medicamento la molestia puede irse, pero la raíz del problema puede seguir ahí… No nos iluminamos imaginando que hay luz… Necesitamos hacernos consientes de la oscuridad… Cuando vemos a los niños asustarse al ver una película de terror, o temer al monstruo del armario. Lo consideramos natural y les compramos un oso de peluche para que se sientan seguros(as). Hasta podríamos revisar bajo su cama o revisar el armario para que vean que no hay peligro alguno. Sin embargo cuando el temor se presenta en la época adulta otra es la visión que se tiene de la misma. Los adultos temerosos no pueden acudir a osos de peluche pues se sentirían extraños. Los monstruos a los que teme el adulto quizá no se traten de figuras espectrales ávidos de sangre. Tal vez son más peligrosos porque se han instaurado en el mecanismo de lucha-huida. Y tal vez ese adulto está alerta a su entorno. Para esta persona el pasar del viento que agita una ventana es señal de alarma, -puede ser un ladrón que quiere entrar a robar- El ladrido de su mascota –puede ser alguien falseando la caja fuerte- La oscuridad –es sinónimo de desamparo- Porque no puede ver a su alrededor, pierde el control…
